Host An Active Play Party!

Combine your social fun and physical activity. Instead of going out to eat or gathering just for a meal, take the focus away from food. So how can you make plans to spend time with friends and relatives without having to sit around the table munching? How about an active play party?

February is a drab month to be outdoors so bring the party inside and get moving. Some ideas are:

  • Hook up an active gaming unit like Wii Sports, xBoxConnect or others that aren’t sit down games and start a tournament.
  • Hit the bowling alley, but skip the beer!
  • Go ice skating at the local arena.
  • Have a dance contest.

The idea is to find fun ways to get more physical activity for an achievable healthy lifestyle.
