Be MINDFUL

Is your attention focused on things that aren’t helpful like senseless worrying, self-criticism or too much TV? Or do you have difficulty paying attention in boring meetings? Attention is trainable. You really can develop better control of your mental activity with mindfulness. Mindfulness simply means being steadily aware of something.

BE MINDFUL OF:

  • What’s Around You?
  • Key details at work.
  • The deeper wants of your partner.
  • Flowers blooming.
  • Someone smiling.

What’s Inside You? Feelings of hurt underneath anger. Unrealistic expectations. Good intentions.

Mindfulness has a lot of benefits. As the duration and intensity of what you are paying attention to increases, it traces in your brain helping you to take in the positive experiences. As a result, negative experiences have less of an impact on you.
