Eating Healthy Together

Couples live in the same environment when it comes to food, exercise and stress. Whether your married, dating, or just dining with friends, how other people eat can really affect your choices.

Avoid snacking together. Be mindful if you are really hungry or just “eating for the company”.

Encourage each other. It’s hard to fight nighttime cravings when your other half has a pantry full of cookies!

Understand your nutritional needs. Try not to match your partner bite for bite. Some body types can eat more without gaining weight.

Family habits, personal preferences, family customs and social settings are likely influencing more of your eating choices than you realize. Be mindful of what and when you are eating and your wise choices may just impact those around you!

“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.”   Dr. Seuss
