Healthy Role Model

Practicing healthy habits is important for the whole family, but men in particular need to pay more attention to their health. Compared to women, men are more likely to smoke, drink, take risks and put off regular medical care.

So how can the man in the family be a role model for staying healthy?

  • Get important screening tests to prevent or treat conditions.
  • Take aspirin to avoid heart attacks.
  • Don’t smoke, and drink in moderation or not at all.
  • Stay at a healthy weight.
  • Be physically active.
  • Eat a healthy diet.
